At Catalyst Personal Training we look at you as a three dimensional being because that is how we move. 

Unfortunately some conventional ways of training are very restrictive as they do not take account that we move in three planes of motion usually all at the same time. If movement in one plane is restricted, injury or pain can occur.

We can help you to perform every day activities more efficiently and actually prevent injury before it even happens by restoring normal motion in the joint or joints.

Do you play sport regularly? We can help you improve your golf swing, tennis/stroke, skiing, snow boarding technique and many more!

How is this done?

 

We will guide you through a series of functional tests that will enable us to identify any imbalances using our in depth knowledge of physiology and biomechanics. 

We will look at you walking and/or running comparing left to right to establish if there is a lack of movement or any compensation from one side to another.

We then give you specific exercises that will focus on getting the correct movement back into the joint or joints so that normalized motion is restored.
